About the Role

As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and validating PLC and safety programs for manufacturing equipment, as well as configuring and testing I/O connections. You will coordinate equipment duplication processes, manage orders, and oversee the scheduling of deliveries. Your role will also include supporting construction projects, preparing technical documentation, and contributing to development and Industry 4.0 initiatives.

What You Will Do

• Creating and validating PLC and safety programs for manufacturing equipment

• Checking, configuring, and programming I/O connections of manufacturing equipment

• In case of equipment duplication: requesting quotations, placing orders, tracking orders, and scheduling deliveries

• Coordinating construction projects

• Preparing the relevant parts of machine documentation

• Participating in development projects

• Participating in Industry 4.0 projects

What You Need to Be Successful

• Higher education degree in engineering (preferably electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or engineering informatics)

• 3–4 years of experience in a similar field (machine manufacturing)

• English language skills at a communicative level

• Knowledge of PLC programming (TwinCAT)

• Ability to read electrical schematics (Eplan)

Bonus Points if You Have

• Knowledge of Functional Safety

• Basic knowledge of pneumatics
