About the Role

We're seeking an experienced React.js Developer to lead our front-end development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in React.js, JavaScript, and web development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and efficient applications.

What You Will Do

• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Architecture and Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, efficient, and reliable front-end architectures.
• React.js Development: Develop and maintain complex React.js applications, ensuring high-quality, scalability, and performance.
• Code Review and Optimization: Perform code reviews, optimize code for performance, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Mentorship and Training: Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and training on React.js, JavaScript, and web development best practices.
• Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay current with the latest React.js, JavaScript, and web development trends, best practices, and technologies.

What You Need to Be Successful

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 6-8 years of experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on React.js.
• Expert-level knowledge of React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), and web development. Experience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX). Familiarity with front-end build tools (Webpack, Rollup). Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Enzyme). Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements.

Bonus Points if You Have

• Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified React.js Developer.
• Experience with Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS.
• Familiarity with DevOps Tools: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or Jenkins.
• Experience with Machine Learning: Experience with machine learning libraries (TensorFlow, Brain.js).

What Makes You Eligible

• Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
• This position requires the use of a HARMAN or customer-owned vehicle. As such, any offer of employment will be contingent upon having a clean driving record, which will be evaluated and determined in HARMAN’s sole discretion, no more than four (4) active points for moving violations (issued by any motor vehicle agency), and no references to operating a vehicle under the influence of controlled substances within the last 10 years.
