Account Manager – E-commerce
(Bol.com, Coolblue, Media Markt, Krefel and other online retail)

About the Role:
As a Account Manager – E-commerce, you will be supporting the Harman Key Account manager for managing relationships with key online retailers such as Bol.com, Coolblue and the e-commerce divisions of MediaMarkt, Krëfel, and Vanden Borre. You will drive sales growth, optimize product availability, and work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless execution of commercial plans. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, commercial mind set, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and digital marketing teams.
What You Will Do:
Account management & business growth
- Supporting the Harman Account managers for the region Benelux and manage and develop relationships with online retailers, ensuring strong partnerships and long-term growth.
- Support the execution of sales strategies to drive revenue and market share.
- Work closely with buyers and category managers to optimize assortment and promotional opportunities.
- Ensure alignment between online and offline retail strategies for omnichannel retailers.
Commercial strategy, negotiation & forecasting
- Assist in annual and quarterly business planning, including sales targets and promotional budgets.
- Analyze sell-through data and market trends to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Execute promotional budgets, trade terms, and visibility investments with online retailers.
- Forecast demand based on sales performance, seasonality, and promotional impact, ensuring optimal stock levels.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to anticipate demand fluctuations and minimize stock-outs or overstock situations.
Retail media, trade marketing & digital activations
- Work closely with the EMEA and regional Trade Marketing team to plan and execute digital campaigns, ensuring brand visibility and conversion optimization.
- Align promotional calendars with Trade Marketing and Digital Marketing teams to ensure seamless execution across all digital retail touchpoints.
- Provide input on product content, A+ pages, and enhanced brand storytelling to improve conversion rates and customer experience.
- Collaborate on Retail Media investments, ensuring a data-driven approach to campaign optimization.
Sales performance tracking & competitive analysis
- Monitor daily online visibility at customer level.
- Track and report on sell-through data to identify trends and business opportunities.
- Analyze competitor activity, including pricing strategies, A/B testing, promotional tactics, and new product launches.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance sales performance and category growth.
Retailer collaboration & internal communication
- Coordinate co-op marketing activities with key digital retailers in collaboration with the Trade Marketing team.
- Work closely with E-commerce, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure consistent execution of online retail strategies.
- Align with internal stakeholders on pricing, product availability, and promotional activities to ensure a seamless go-to-market approach.
What You Need to Be Successful:
- At least 3 years of experience in Sales, E-commerce, or Key Account Management, preferably in Consumer Electronics or Retail.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions.
- Good understanding of e-commerce platforms (Bol.com, Coolblue, MediaMarkt) and online retail KPIs.
- Experience in forecasting, demand planning, and sales performance tracking is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, and Digital Marketing teams.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to manage retailer relationships.
- Fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus).
