About the Role:

We're looking for an expert Android Framework Engineer (Java) with solid experience in AOSP, AAOS, and multimedia services using Java and AIDL interfaces. You'll design, develop, and optimize Android framework components and HAL services for automotive platforms.

What You Will Do:

- Design and develop headless services for communication components

- Implement AIDL interfaces between UI and headless applications

- Develop Android framework components and HAL services for automotive platforms

- Optimize performance of components to meet automotive KPIs

- Collaborate with teams to implement product-based design concepts

What You Need to Be Successful:

- 3-6 years of experience in AOSP, AAOS, Android framework, and services

- Solid expertise in Multimedia (Audio or Video) services

- Strong experience with AIDL Interfaces Design and Implementation

- Good experience with Android connectivity (e.g., WIFI)

- Knowledge of Hardware abstraction layers in Android and/or Linux

- Proficient in Java/Kotlin, Linux, and git, CI/CD workflow

- Experience in Agile-based projects

Bonus Points if You Have:

- Experience with automotive-grade Android platforms

- Knowledge of automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)

- Familiarity with other programming languages (Python, C#)

- Certification in Android or related technologies
