About the Role
As a DSP SW Engineer, you will play crucial role in designing, developing, porting and optimization of DSP software using audio algorithms on multiple amplifier hardware platforms and operating systems.
You’ll be go-to person for technical know-how for the team.
Your work will have impact on the application of amplifiers for car audio ecosystem.
What You Will Do
You will be part of Agile-Scrum software development team for Platform-Amplifier DSP. You will be involved in sprint backlog development for amplifier roadmap.
Your day-to-day activities will mainly involve analyzing data, modifying code, and performing other programming tasks for release plans for amplifier development.
Integrate code into larger software projects. Collaborate with other engineers to ensure seamless functionality.
Own the task and strive to constantly improve development performance.
Work both independently and within the global teams with little direct supervision.
Be point of contact for any technical concerns of the team.
Be an active team member, discuss and debate different solutions for the problem with the team.
Demonstrate critical thinking to take appropriate risks and make sound and timely decisions.
Take initiative to achieve superior quality results and maximize contributions that align with development road maps for amplifier programs.
Interface with cross locational SW/HW engineers, primarily across India, Poland, Germany, China, or US, to ensure proper implementation of amplifier development tasks.
What You Need to be Successful
7+ yrs Proficiency in embedded software programming languages C++, Python.
Solid understanding of embedded RTOS and its concepts.
Good understanding of hardware design, reading schematics.
Experience using oscilloscope and logic analyzer for troubleshooting.
Experience with Google UT framework.
Familiarity with digital communication protocols (I2C, A2B, SPI, UART).
Clear in articulating technical knowhow to cross locational teams and stakeholders.
Familiarity with Agile-Scrum way of working.
Bonus Points if You Have
A relevant degree such as bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering, or a related field.
Know-how of development tools such as CCES, Codesonar & DevOps tools for CI/CD.
Knowledge of DSP controllers of ADI in Griffin family, TI’s AM275x signal processing controllers.
Use of AI tools for technical SW development Good to have knowledge of project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Background of Agile or V-model based project life cycle.
Active team player and got to person for team.
Experience with automotive networks in CAN is a plus.
Deeper awareness of quality aspects in software development.
What Makes You Eligible
Be willing to travel up to 2%, domestic or international.
Be willing to work in an office. However, this role is eligible for HARMAN remote-flex mode with occasional trips to Bangalore office location required (this could be on 24-hour notice).
