Introduction: A Career at HARMAN Automotive

We’re a global, multi-disciplinary team that’s putting the innovative power of technology to work and transforming tomorrow. At HARMAN Automotive, we give you the keys to fast-track your career.

  • Engineer audio systems and integrated technology platforms that augment the driving experience

  • Combine ingenuity, in-depth research, and a spirit of collaboration with design and engineering excellence

  • Advance in-vehicle infotainment, safety, efficiency, and enjoyment

About the Role

As a Business Process Analyst, you will be a key enabler of finance transformation by acting as the critical link between business stakeholders and IT teams. Your role will focus on understanding complex finance processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting the successful delivery of digital and system-related projects. You will be instrumental in shaping how finance operates by ensuring that business requirements are clearly defined, documented, and translated into effective technical solutions.

Although the role bridges technical and business areas, hands-on finance operational experience can be valuable: accelerating information exchange, improving documentation, deepening understanding of challenges, and supporting process design and change management.

What You Will Do

  • Lead requirement-gathering sessions and workshops with finance stakeholders.

  • Analyze existing finance processes and identify areas for optimization or automation.

  • Translate business needs into clear functional specifications for IT development.

  • Create detailed process documentation, including process maps, SOPs, and user stories.

  • Support the design, testing, and implementation of new systems or enhancements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.

  • Provide training, change management, and post-implementation support to end users.

  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a structured approach to problem-solving.

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills to bridge business and technical teams.

  • Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g. Visio) and documentation standards.

  • Solid understanding of finance processes such as P2P, O2C, and R2R.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Strong learning agility and ability to support process adoption across diverse teams.

What Makes You Eligible

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Information Technology.

  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or project support roles.

  • 3+ years of experience as an accountant or team lead, such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or General Accounting within a shared service environment.

  • Solid knowledge of SAP FI-CO modules.

  • Experience with SAP (ECC or S/4HANA) in a functional or project capacity.

  • Proven track record in finance transformation or ERP implementation projects.

  • Presenting skills of reports with the ability to challenge results and drive data-based discussions.

  • Experience in creating and presenting structured presentations to stakeholders.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

  • Good documentation skills and should be able to work in a global environment.

  • Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a strong advantage.

What We Offer

  • Flexible work environment with a culture encouraging work-life integration and collaboration in a global environment.

  • Access to employee discounts on world-class HARMAN/Samsung products (JBL, Harman Kardon, AKG etc.).

  • Extensive training opportunities through our own HARMAN University.

  • An inclusive and diverse work environment that fosters and encourages professional and personal development

  • “Be Brilliant” employee recognition and rewards program.

  • Work on best-in-class emerging technologies and an atmosphere that motivates you to give your best.
