Introduction: A Career at HARMAN Automotive

We’re a global, multi-disciplinary team that’s putting the innovative power of technology to work and transforming tomorrow. At HARMAN Automotive, we give you the keys to fast-track your career.

  • Engineer audio systems and integrated technology platforms that augment the driving experience.
  • Combine ingenuity, in-depth research, and a spirit of collaboration with design and engineering excellence.
  • Advance in-vehicle infotainment, safety, efficiency, and enjoyment.

About the Role

The Ready Connect Delivery Manager – TCU assumes end-to-end ownership of product delivery and product line execution for one or more Ready Connect product families.

You will jointly shape the hardware and software product roadmaps with Product Management, ensuring that both HW and SW inputs are captured, prioritized, and executed. The role requires leading pre-sales/RFQ pursuits, supporting new customer acquisition, and institutionalizing engineering practices (PLM100, BMS M Gates, PSR) to achieve operational and innovation excellence.

You will steer multidisciplinary teams from concept to launch, ensuring traceability (IRS→SRS→TRS/TFS→Test) and robust release governance for each TCU Product. The Delivery Manager is responsible for integrating hardware and software requirements, balancing platform strategy with customer-specific demands, and managing SKU discipline and derivative strategy.

Additionally, you will establish and scale a cybersecurity-first, CI/CD-driven test automation and pre-compliance lab for TCU Product—enabling early EMI/EMC and reliability screening, integrating security tooling into pipelines, and orchestrating HIL validation across connectivity domains (Cellular, GNSS, Wi-Fi, BT/BLE, SATCOM) and vehicle networks (CAN, CAN FD, Automotive Ethernet/TSN), accelerating regulatory/OEM approvals.

The Delivery Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of products to the project and delivery organization, collaborating and working closely with these teams to ensure seamless integration, alignment of objectives, and timely execution. This includes proactively engaging with project managers, delivery leads, and cross-functional stakeholders to address challenges, synchronize plans, and drive continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Maintain ALM traceability (IRS→SRS→TRS/TFS→Test Reports→Release Notes) and conformance to BMS M Gates and PSR thresholds.

Engineering Execution & Practices

  • Direct System, HW, SW, Security, Integration, Validation, and Certification teams to deliver gold-quality TCU Product.
  • Institutionalize SAFe, CI/CD, branching strategy, automated validation, core asset governance, defect triage policy, and DORA/flow metrics.

Cybersecurity & DevSecOps

  • Embed DevSecOps, FOSS license compliance, dependency scanning, SBOM generation, vulnerability management (CVSS), and security gates in CI/CD.
  • Coordinate ISO 21434/UNECE R155 readiness; align TARA/CSMS with product releases and customer audits.
  • Establish secure build & signing pipelines for Product Software key management, and artifact provenance (SLSA aligned).

Quality, Compliance & Lab Enablement

  • Design, commission, and operate a state-of-the-art Pre-Compliance Lab for TCU product covering EMI/EMC, environmental & reliability (HALT/HASS), thermal, vibration; define lab SOPs, traceability, and calibration plans aligned to M Gate milestones.
  • Enable multi-fixture benches for parallel TCU testing across assigned product families with automated orchestration and results harvesting.
