Description & Requirements

What You Will Do :

  • Lead and manage a team of certification test engineers, ensuring high-quality deliverables and timely execution.
  • Perform and oversee Android Mobile and Android TV certification testing.
  • Execution of test suites such as CTS, GTS, CTS-Verifier, STS, VTS, and CTS-OnGSI for platform compliance.
  • Provide technical direction on test strategy, defect triage, and issue resolution.
  • Work extensively on Ubuntu/Linux OS with strong hands-on troubleshooting and scripting capability.
  • Coordinate with clients, internal facility teams, and IT teams to ensure smooth test execution, infrastructure readiness, and reporting.
  • Review test results, analyze failures, and drive root cause analysis.
  • Prepare and present status reports, metrics, and certification progress updates to management and stakeholders.
  • Drive process improvements, automation adoption, and best practices in certification testing.


What You Need :

  • Proven experience in leading teams (mentoring, task allocation, performance tracking).
  • Strong knowledge of Android OS architecture and Google certification processes.
  • Hands-on expertise with Google test suites (CTS/GTS/STS/VTS).
    Proficiency in Ubuntu/Linux OS and command-line tools.
  • [Preferred] Knowledge of AOSP build system, debugging tools (adb, logcat, kernel logs).
  • [Preferred] Scripting/programming skills in Python/Shell/Java for automation and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with ability to work across clients, IT, and facility teams.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities.
