About the Role
As the Global Brand Manager, Luxury & Embedded Audio, you will shape, develop, and execute the strategic global positioning and guidelines for HARMAN’s portfolio of luxury audio brands (JBL Luxury/Synthesis, Revel, Mark Levinson, and ARCAM), while also supporting the growth of HARMAN Embedded Audio (HEA) solutions across third-party partner products.
This role requires a seasoned brand and marketing leader with deep experience in luxury and/or professional audio products. This role will report to the Global Brand Strategy Director and is based in Northridge, CA.
What You Will Do
- Lead global brand positioning, planning, and governance for HARMAN’s luxury audio and embedded audio portfolio by driving market research, strategic planning, and brand standards across B2B and consumer touchpoints
- Lead GTM planning for key luxury and HEA product launches
- Drive brand-led thinking across functions—from product development through marketing
- Oversee regular updates to website content, lead redesigns as needed
- Oversee development of luxury brand creative (campaign key visuals, videos, lifestyle/in-situ photography and more)
- Oversee planning and execution of luxury and HEA trade events, including developing sales enablement materials such as pitch decks
- Oversee external agencies and vendors, holding them accountable for performance, budget, and quality standards. Lead negotiations and resolve issues to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Use sophisticated analytical thought to interpret business challenges, evaluate campaign results, and present actionable insights. Recommend and implement improvements to products, processes, or services based on data and best practices.
- Communicate difficult concepts clearly and negotiate differing perspectives with senior stakeholders or external partners to drive alignment and adoption of new approaches.
What You Need to Be Successful
- 7+ years of experience in brand or marketing management within global or matrixed organizations
- Deep familiarity with luxury audio products (amplifiers, speakers, high-end home theater systems, streamers/DACs), their use cases, sales/distribution channels, and target consumers.
- B2B marketing experience
- Expertise in brand positioning and cross-functional leadership
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects and external vendor relationships
- Ability to work independently and provide guidance in highly complex situations
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience interpreting business challenges and implementing innovative solutions
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey difficult concepts to diverse audiences
- Hands-on experience with creative development, agency management, and campaign tracking across digital, social, and traditional media channels
- Experience with budget management and performance reporting systems (e.g., Allocadia)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with regional teams, stakeholders, and vendors globally.

- Be open to working in the Northridge, CA office (hybrid option available; flexibility to come into the office on short notice when needed is appreciated).

Pay is based on a wide range of factors, including, without limitation, skill set, experience, training, location, and business need.
