About the Role
As an Acoustic Design Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and tuning acoustic sensors for automotive applications, helping deliver innovative in-vehicle audio experiences. This role combines hands-on engineering work with technical analysis, benchmarking, prototyping, and customer collaboration. You will contribute your expertise in acoustics and measurement methods to product development, support technical evaluations, and help drive new technologies forward within a highly collaborative engineering team.
You will join a team of five highly skilled engineers who consistently deliver work of outstanding quality. In addition to your core responsibilities, you will also contribute to the team’s success by providing professional support and expertise to your colleagues in their day-to-day activities.
What You Will Do
Support creation of product specifications (acoustic section) for customer and supplier.
Create and review product documentation and test reports
Perform or support technical evaluations together with the customer.
Leading technical benchmark activities of acoustic sensors.
Develop and tune acoustical sensors for automotive applications.
Prepare and perform audio measurements inside vehicles.
Assemble and test of prototypes.
Cooperate within the acoustic systems group for definition of acoustic measurement methods.
Support development of acoustic measurement systems.
Research for new technologies, products and share within the development team
Provide technical guidance and support for the development team.
What You Need to Be Successful
Bachelor’s degree in acoustics, electrical engineering or similar
7-8 years with specific experience in acoustical engineering and measurement
Affinity for automotive applications
Familiarity with sound recording and audio measurement tools
Ability to write reports and technical correspondence to internal and external customers and suppliers
Broad knowledge of acoustics, particularly microphone acoustics
Good computer skills in Windows/Microsoft Office
Knowledge of MATLAB, C; algorithm development
Good English skills (speech and written)
