About the Role
As a Principal Software Engineer for System Integration, you will integrate software components into embedded systems of high complexity. You set up and improve Continuous Integration pipelines and oversee and optimize the integration flow and process. In this role, you will leverage your deep knowledge in Linux/QNX, in the related build systems, in Continuous Integration using git/Jenkins/Python, and you will closely collaborate with Software Development, Architecture, Test as well as DevOps teams. You will be reporting to the Manager of “Build & Integration”.
What You Will Do
- Integrate Linux/QNX Software Components into embedded systems of high complexity
- Set up and improve Continuous Integration using git/Jenkins/Python
- Continuously partner with Software Development, Architecture, Test and DevOps teams
- Guide System Integration Engineers in your peer group
What You Need to Be Successful
- 17+ years of experience with embedded Software & System Integration / Linux / QNX
- Engineering degree like Bachelor or Master in Electronics / Software / Information Technology
- Demonstrable knowledge of Continuous Integration principles and tools
- Proficiency in git / yocto recipes & meta layers / bitbake / git / gerrit
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Bonus Points if You Have
- Worked with variety of version control and CI systems (ex. gerrit, GitHub, Azure DevOps, …)
- Experience with AWS / Azure / Cloud services
