Introduction: A Career at HARMAN Automotive

We’re a global, multi-disciplinary team that’s putting the innovative power of technology to work and transforming tomorrow. At HARMAN Automotive, we give you the keys to fast-track your career.

  • Engineer audio systems and integrated technology platforms that augment the driving experience

  • Combine ingenuity, in-depth research, and a spirit of collaboration with design and engineering excellence

  • Advance in-vehicle infotainment, safety, efficiency, and enjoyment

About the Role

The colleague is responsible for leading and executing high-impact initiatives that improve supply chain efficiency, network capabilities, and organizational resilience. This role is regarded as a project and process expert within the SCM Transformation & Process Management team, leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that directly impact the supply chain organization of ~100 people and indirectly influence ~12,000 employees across the business.

With in-depth expertise in supply chain transformation and process improvement, this role is accountable for shaping governance frameworks, leading multiple projects and programs, and ensuring alignment with broader business objectives. The position requires conceptual and innovative thinking to solve unique and complex problems, strong executive stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to influence decisions and drive organizational change at scale.

Extensive experience in driving supply chain improvements, transformation initiatives, and complex cross-functional projects is required and is a fundamental requirement for this role.

What You Will Do

  • Lead complex, high-impact supply chain transformation initiatives from strategy through execution, translating strategic priorities into sustainable operational improvements and measurable business results. Take end-to-end ownership by identifying opportunities, shaping the approach, aligning stakeholders, driving decisions, removing roadblocks, and ensuring successful implementation.
  • Lead cross-functional transformation initiatives across Supply Chain by collaborating with Procurement, Manufacturing, Digital, and other key functions, creating alignment across different priorities, regions, business units, and organizational levels.
  • Proactively identify, prioritize, and drive continuous improvement opportunities that enhance supply chain performance, efficiency, resilience, productivity, and ways of working, while challenging existing practices and identifying opportunities for simplification.
  • Lead the standardization, harmonization, and optimization of end-to-end supply chain processes, developing scalable processes, standards, and ways of working across functions, regions, and business units.
  • Define business and system requirements for digital supply chain capabilities and partner closely with business and IT teams to design and implement scalable solutions, including SAP IBP improvements, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Act as a trusted transformation partner to senior leaders, bringing structured thinking, fact-based recommendations, external best practices, and a strong point of view to complex or unfamiliar challenges; facilitate workshops and problem-solving sessions to translate them into clear decisions, actions, and accountable outcomes.
  • Establish effective project and program governance, including clear scope, milestones, responsibilities, risks, dependencies, and decision-making structures, while providing concise progress updates, recommendations, and escalation points to the SCM Transformation & Process Management team and senior Operations leadership.
  • Drive adoption and capability building by developing process documentation, standards, playbooks, training materials, and change-management activities, while coaching colleagues and project teams to strengthen transformation and continuous improvement capabilities across the organization.

What You Need to be Successful

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Operations, transformation, program/project management, management consulting, or a comparable environment.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, with the ability to quickly understand new business areas and connect strategic objectives with operational realities.
  • A strong self-starter mentality: you are comfortable taking ownership, creating structure where it does not yet exist, and moving topics forward with limited guidance.
  • A proactive, delivery-oriented mindset with a strong bias toward action and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, including confidence working with and challenging senior leaders and executives.
  • Strong consulting-style problem-solving skills: you can break down ambiguous problems, structure analysis, identify root causes, develop options, and translate recommendations into action.
  • Experience with process improvement, process standardization, transformation, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience defining business requirements and working with digital supply chain solutions; knowledge of SAP IBP and/or SAP S/4HANA is highly valuable.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and comfort working with data, business intelligence tools, and digital technologies to support decisions and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, navigate ambiguity, and remain effective in a dynamic and evolving environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build credibility with subject matter experts across functions and organizational levels.
  • A university degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
