About the Role
The SW Delivery Operations Leader will be responsible for planning, communication & execution of strategic priorities for Connectivity SBU’s 300+ global software engineering workforce. SW Delivery Ops Leader will act as a single point of contact for all cross-functional collaboration and organization initiatives, including Automotive Transformational Goals. The leader will be responsible for streamlining demand & supply, forecasting, hiring, onboarding, program dashboards, and reporting for the SW Delivery Organization. The leader will also establish metrics to measure developer efficiency and actively deploy tools to deliver continuous improvements. The leader will also manage a team of ASPICE Process Owners and engineering coordinators.
Your Team
The SW Delivery Operations Leader will lead a global team of 8~10 engineers consisting of Process Owners, AI Engineers, and Engineering Coordinators based in India and Romania.
What You Will Do
- Strategic Planning: Supporting the development and execution of strategy for SW Delivery Organization. Streamline demand & supply for active programs, forecast based on business pipeline, anticipate changing needs of the customer, provide proactive insights, coordinate hiring & onboarding and ensure efficient business continuity.
- Operational Oversight: Establish business-critical metrics for data-driven decision making. Establish agile metrics, online dashboards, measure and continuously improve developer efficiency.
- Represent SW Delivery Org: Act as the primary interface for communication. Drive internal initiatives and Transformational Goals that require representation from SW Delivery Organization.
- Meeting Coordination: Planning and facilitating executive meetings and follow-ups.
- ASPICE Process Adherence: Lead a group of Process Owners and ensure process adherence for SWE.2, SWE.3, and SWE.4 for all Connectivity SBU projects.
- Budget & Spending: Coordinate SoWs, Invoices, annual OPEX/CAPEX and other related activities.
- AI Evangelist: Pilot and deploy AI tools to improve developer efficiency.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or comparable experience
- PMI Certificate in Program Management (PMP or equivalent) and expertise in agile metrics
- 10+ years of overall professional experience in the domain of program management or automotive software development.
- 5+ years in technical leadership, leading a worldwide team of software engineers & process experts.
- A relentless focus on doing the basics brilliantly. Drive consistency and ownership through the organization with clear accountability
- Experience building and leading diverse teams, incorporating diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies into the DNA of teams
- Ability to communicate advanced and complex concepts and ideas persuasively and concisely to all levels
What is Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in computer science or Computer Engineering
- Relevant experience in AI/ML technologies
- Strong experience in Automotive Software Development Frameworks.
- An affinity for business and the ability to run the organization to optimize for agreed-upon financial metrics.
