About the Role
As a L1/L2 Support and Teamcenter Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the business user issues and Teamcenter (PLM, FMEA, PCM) administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, configuration, maintenance, and support of the Siemens Teamcenter platform. This role requires a deep understanding of Teamcenter functional knowledge (Change, Access, BOM, Workflow management), Teamcenter architecture, user management, leadership skills, exceptional interpersonal skills, and system integration to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.
What You Will Do
- L1/L2 Teamcenter support – Incident management and business user support
- Diagnose and resolve Teamcenter Application issues like application platform, user access, workflows, and integrations. Coming up with Preventive maintenance and functional improvement topics.
- Teamcenter platform enhancement packages, updates, upgrades
- Escalation – Escalate unresolved issues to L3 support or development teams, providing detailed documentation of troubleshooting steps and findings.
- Knowledge Base Contribution - Document solutions, create FAQs, and update knowledge base articles to reduce ticket volume and enable self-service for common issues.
- Create test environment for Teamcenter Environments
- Work closely with other Digital organizations for hardware, networking, SSO, integrations, etc.
- Coordinate with Siemens GTAC for software issues.
- Establish automated application monitoring, performance tuning.
- Develop Technical Architecture to ensure un-interrupted operation on Teamcenter.
- Health Checks - Perform daily system checks, including monitoring Teamcenter availability, database performance, and server logs, to ensure system stability.
- Integration Support - Troubleshoot and monitor integrations with ERP, CAD( Mentor Graphics, Creo, Catia) an other tools in the ecosystem by ensuring seamless data exchange and functionality.
- Monitoring and Reporting - Monitor Teamcenter multisite architecture, server performance, and database health (e.g., MS SQL), generating reports and escalating anomalies using Enterprise application monitoring platforms (e.g. Cisco App Dynamics)
- Backup and Recovery - Support backup and restoration processes, responding to requests for database recovery or data access.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in Siemens Teamcenter administration including Active Workspace configuration, configuration, implementation, migrations, upgrades and knowledge in architecture, concepts, components.
- Deep expertise in Teamcenter application and data-model administration.
- Experience in BMIDE deployments.
- Experience in Administration of modules like Workflow Designer, Query Builder, Organization, Structure Manager, reports.
- Experience in Configuring, managing, and troubleshooting FMS, pool manager, dispatcher, and Store and Forward
- Experience in configuring SSO, SSL
- Experience in data migration activities.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on experience in addressing day-to-day Teamcenter issues.
- Understanding of FMEA structure and Costing models
- Basic problem-solving/Analytical skills in Application issues, Root cause analysis, and Configurations.
- Effective communication & resolve end-user issues on a day-to-day basis and with other IT Teams as needed.
Bonus Points if You Have
- Automation mindset, ability to develop Self Governing and Self Sustenance for application ecosystem.
- Experience in managing and deployment of LC/NC (Mendix) applications.
- Experience in DevOps and Release management.
