What You Will Do 

  • Design and implement C++ modules for tuner signal processing, metadata handling, and diagnostics. 
  • Optimize algorithms for performance, memory usage, and real-time constraints. 
  • Solve key technical challenges in projects and provide innovative solutions. 
  • Track industry trends and promote the team's technical capabilities. 
  • Develop coding standards and guide team members in their development tasks. 

 

What You Need to Be Successful 

  • Bachelor's or above degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related fields. 
  • Experience in C++ development (Interface design, Advanced data structures, OOPS concept, backend communication, curl, REST), docker.
  • Experience with multi-threaded and real-time systems. 
  • Knowledge of: 
  • Radio and TV standards (AM/FM, DAB, HDRadio, SXM, ISDBT, DVBT, CI+, DMBT/Digicap) and their usage in different countries/markets. 
  • Data services of various Radio & TV standards (Artist Experience, FMVICS, TPEG, EWS, EPG, BLM, MHEG5, Videotext, etc.) for navigation, emergency warning, and user information.  
  • Tuner Core components (AMFM, DAB, FollowingMaster, AnnouncementMaster, StationHandler, PresentationController).
  • TV Middleware (originally developed by 3rd party supplier RTRK), Transcoder SDK. 
  • Tuner ICs (NXP DiRaNA, NXP Saturn, SXM X28, Parrot Octopus) and their low level interfaces.
  • CSB system architecture and infrastructure (Elina kernel, OnOff, Persistency, SWDL). 
  • Proficiency in debugging tools and performance profiling. 
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git). 
  • Experience in Linux, shell scripting, system.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
