About the Role

We’re seeking a driven and collaborative leader to join our Value Management (VM) organisation, which focuses on delivering impactful results within the Intelligent Cockpit Strategic Business Unit (SBU). Success in this role means working cross-functionally with Engineering, Customer Account Management, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and the broader VM team to deliver measurable value. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy solving complex challenges, and are passionate about making a tangible impact, this is your opportunity to lead transformation and shape the future of intelligent cockpit solutions.

Your Team

Operates within a cross-functional organisational model with no direct reports. Success in the role relies on strong collaboration and influence across diverse teams and disciplines.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and track all VM initiatives across the Intelligent Cockpit SBU, ensuring alignment with strategic goals

  • Analyze and understand technical designs to effectively collaborate with engineering teams

  • Coordinate technical feasibility assessments to build confidence in proposed design changes and unlock new opportunities

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to continuously fill the ideas pipeline and meet aggressive VM savings targets.

  • Monitor and report progress toward annual savings goals, keeping stakeholders informed and engaged

  • Proactively escalate and resolve challenges, ensuring timely delivery of desired outcomes

  • Foster a collaborative mindset, working seamlessly with Engineering, Customer Account Management, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and the broader VM organization

  • Support VM ideation and benchmarking workshops, contributing to SBU annual savings targets and technical component analysis

  • Track and manage cost reduction initiatives within internal Value Management (VM) databases, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and high reliability at all times

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with technical background; an advanced degree is a plus

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Value Management or related disciplines such as VAVE, cost engineering (electronic/mechanical systems), or automotive component engineering within the automotive or technology sectors

  • Solid understanding of automotive electronics technologies and the end-to-end value chain

  • Proven ability to lead technical presentations and facilitate workshops with both internal teams and external partners

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis, KPI tracking, and relevant software tools

  • Excellent project management and organisational capabilities, with a track record of managing multiple priorities effectively

  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills and the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels

What is Nice to Have

  • PMP certification

  • Experience with Automotive Infotainment/Intelligent-Cockpit products and projects

  • Automotive Tier1 RFQ experience

What We Offer

  • Flexible work environment, allowing for full-time remote work one day per week for positions that can be performed outside a HARMAN or customer location

  • Access to employee discounts on world-class Harman (JBL, HARMAN Kardon, AKG, etc.)

  • Extensive training opportunities through our own HARMAN University

  • Competitive wellness benefits

  • Access to HARMAN Campus Fitness Center and Cafeteria

  • “Be Brilliant” employee recognition and rewards program

  • An inclusive and diverse work environment that fosters and encourages professional and personal development
