Description & Requirements
Build AI-driven tools. Work on real vehicle systems. See your impact live.
Join our Customer Engineering team directly at the R&D center of a leading automotive manufacturer. Instead of just supporting tasks, you will actively develop tools, improve engineering workflows, and work hands-on with real systems used in daily operations.
Previous working students have already gone far beyond expectations – building new solutions, introducing AI-supported approaches, and creating the foundation for future development.
What you will do
- Build and expand remote service testbenches used in real engineering environments
- Improve a defect tracking solution
- smarter data structure and modern user interface - Apply AI-supported development methods
- work with coding agents and different AI models
- implement machine learning for error clustering - Develop a cross-platform dashboard
- visualize processing status and clustering results
- use on PC, tablet, and external monitors - Bring your solutions into real-life operation
- integrate tools into existing systems and workflows - Design and implement a flash network infrastructure
- extend systems with NAS and remote-capable components - Support flash and escalation scenarios
- handle high volumes of devices and continuously improve workflows
Your work will directly improve engineering efficiency and is already shaping the next generation of tools.
What you need
- Student in computer science, electrical engineering, automotive engineering or similar
- Interest in system engineering, IT infrastructure, and data-driven solutions
- First experience with programming, scripting, and data analysis is a plus
- Structured and independent working style
- Hands-on mindset and willingness to take ownership
What we offer
- Real responsibility and visible impact on engineering systems
- Work on AI-driven and data-based solutions
- Flexible working hours (16–20 hrs/week, full-time during semester breaks)
- Attractive compensation
- Modern and collaborative working environment
- Possibility for thesis or long-term career entry
Your perspective
- Work on real automotive development systems with direct customer exposure
- Build strong skills in system engineering, IT infrastructure, and AI-supported development
