About the Role:
Are you a marketing student who loves music and gaming? And do you want to work for cool brands like JBL? Then read on. Because HARMAN is looking for an enthusiastic and inquisitive marketing & brand activation to join the marketing team.
The marketing team is involved in communication, trade marketing, digital marketing, PR and events. With us you will have the opportunity to work in an international environment with a team of experienced marketers who will guide you. At HARMAN, no day is the same.
This role offers a varied, energetic work environment with the chance to grow and learn. Your main focus will be the Dutch market, and the internship lasts at least six months.
What You Will Do:
- Grow and learn every day by diving into exciting, hands-on marketing projects.
- Collaborate on impactful campaigns and strategic partnerships that truly make a difference.
- Analyze performance and report key insights that help shape marketing and sales strategies.
- Play an active role in launching new products and bringing fresh, creative ideas to life.
- Coordinate online trade marketing initiatives with leading retail partners.
- Manage product samples and ensure seamless execution across teams.
- Be part of unforgettable events and activations, working closely with gaming influencers and brand ambassadors.
- Join a passionate, supportive marketing team that’s always ready to collaborate and succeed together.

The above activities are examples of activities that you may encounter in the marketing department. You will also have the opportunity to work on one or more projects. For example, helping to set up a gaming activation with our gaming influencers. This depends on your personal interest and the currently available projects.
What You Need to be successful:
- University student (preferably final year of Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Marketing or Communication
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Fluent in English and Dutch; French is a plus
- Strong communicator and true team player
- Structured, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Pragmatic, result-oriented, and proactive
- Interest in social media, digital trends, and electronics is a plus
- Hard worker with a go-getter mindset
- Enjoys a fun, collaborative, and positive atmosphere!
